At MMC, we have multiple honors programs and organizations to suit the many ways our students achieve. From honor societies to Honors Day, we offer several ways to challenge and recognize our most exceptional students.
The CHP curriculum includes more advanced General Education courses, as well as smaller classes and more academically and creatively demanding coursework.
The Academic Honors Committee and the Alpha Chi Honor Society host an annual celebration, recognizing the achievements of our talented faculty and students.
Honors in the Major provides students with exciting opportunities to explore their major discipline in depth, beyond their capstone work, by completing a substantial research or creative project.
Many of our students receive merit- or need-based scholarships. We offer endowed funds, service awards, scholarships for transfers, and grants for future entrepreneurs, among many others. Look into external opportunities as well! You have options.
Marymount Manhattan College students with a GPA of 3.3 or higher are invited to apply for Boren and Fulbright awards. These grants fund up to one year of study abroad in foreign countries. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply.
MMC hosts chapters for a number of national honor and professional societies, all of which award students for their hard work and provide service and networking opportunities.
