You are creative and unique. You want to shout from the rooftops who you are and what you believe. You want to express yourself.

We’re here to listen, closely.

We want to know about you: the real you. Not just the tests you took or the grades you got. Tell us a story—the story of YOU.

Zero in on a moment in your life that shows how you’ve changed or lets you reflect. Tell us what excites you, what you’ve thought deeply about, what you strive for. Most of all, focus on YOU—how you felt, what you experienced, why you were transformed. It’s you we’re interested in. It’s your story we’re excited to hear.

At MMC, you are not a set of academic credentials. You are a whole person, and you deserve to be seen and known.

Our goal is to ensure access and equity in our admission process by eliminating obstacles you may face when completing the application process. To this end, MMC is test-optional for Fall 2023 domestic applicants and will no longer require an application fee.

Note, this policy does not affect academic scholarship offerings. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Admission.

MMCProud! 💙 A big congratulations to Kathryn Miramontes, who’s been named valedictorian of MMC’s 2023 graduating class. She’ll address faculty and administrators, her classmates, and their families at Commencement, which takes place at the United Palace theater on Friday, May 19. Miramontes is a History major with a concentration in Fashion History and Historical Costuming and an Art History minor. After graduation, she hopes to work as a fashion history research consultant overseeing period costumes on sets or as a stylist. Her message for fellow graduating seniors? “We all have different plans after MMC,” she said. “But my main goal is to tell the Class of 2023 that no matter what your next step is, this is a huge accomplishment. We’re all graduating from college in New York City, and that’s so awesome.”  Go to mmm.edu to read more about Kathryn! #Classof23 #MMC #GoGriffins #collegegraduation #NYC #UES @art.mmc @humsoc_mmc
