Ashley Pavia ’21 is graduating with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Urban & Environmental Sustainability, as well as minors in Applied Mathematics and Chemistry. In the fall, she will begin a Ph.D. Program in Oceanography at the University of Delaware.

Ashley Pavia ’21 will be graduating with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Urban & Environmental Sustainability, as well as minors in Applied Mathematics and Chemistry. Starting this fall, she will pursue a Ph.D. in Oceanography at the University of Delaware, for which she has been awarded the Marian R. Okie Fellowship by the School of Marine Science & Policy. Ashley will work as a graduate research assistant in an environmental chemistry & toxicology lab to study PFAS contamination in marine biota. She hopes to conduct impactful research to link environmental changes to ecological and human health. Go Griffins!
