    Why Study Theatre?

The Theatre Arts minor is designed for non-Theatre Arts majors who wish to complement their studies at MMC with a grounding in the history and practice of theatre and its relationship to culture and society.

    Why Study Theatre at MMC?

Develop independent study opportunities with Theatre Arts faculty to explore the connections between your major and theatre.
Collaborate with Theatre Arts majors to begin developing a network of peers who appreciate the value of theatre in society.

    • Upon entering MMC, I was torn between choosing a theatre-based major and a non-performing arts major because of my interests in different academic fields. Discovering that MMC had a Theatre Arts minor allowed me to study the aspects of theatre that I am passionate about while also allowing myself to devote time to my other academic interests.
