Michael G. Stewart, MD, MPH

Dr. Michael Stewart is a renowned otolaryngologist who serves as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and Otolaryngologist-in-Chief at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He also serves as Vice Dean of the Medical College and the E. Darracott Vaughan, Jr., MD Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs. Dr. Stewart leads the Center for the Performing Artist at NYP/Weill Cornell. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of The Laryngoscope journal. He is a director of the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-HNS. Dr. Stewart earned his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, summa cum laude, at Vanderbilt University, his MD at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and his MPH at the University of Texas School of Public Health. He serves on MMC’s Educational Planning and Compensation Committees.
