Each year at the end of the month of February the Student Development & Activities office hosts the Leadership Summit. This program is designed to benefit all students by engaging them with relevant content and outside presenters who are highly experienced and deeply passionate about their specialty.
It is the goal of the SDA office to provide a program that will compliment the school mission, specifically the directive “…to develop an awareness of social, political, cultural, and ethical issues in the belief that this awareness will lead to concern for, participation in, and improvement of society.” We strive to enrich the co-curricular experience by providing these leadership experiences that provide a practical application of the knowledge gained in their coursework.
Past programs have included:
- Leadership Summit 2015: Leadership Style and Conflict
- Leadership Summit 2016: Leadership Through Collective Action
- Leadership Summit 2017: Movements & Protest
The SDA staff will be working on the content for the 2018 program. If you would like to offer suggestions or feedback for consideration and inclusion in the 2018 Summit, please follow the link below.
