EWL Advisory Board

As part of  Marymount Manhattan College’s CityEdge program, each academic department sponsors an Advisory Board composed of accomplished professionals from across New York City with relevant knowledge, experience, and expertise in fields related to our respective programs. The EWL Advisory Board Members provide insight on the current and future state of their industry, assist with external relations and outreach to the industry, support career development initiatives, and identify job openings, internships and other professional opportunities.


  • Amy Brandt ’14 

    Amy has been the editor in chief of Pointe magazine since 2014, following a 19-year dance career. Ms. Brandt graduated summa cum laude from MMC with a BA in English and World Literatures in 2014.  

  • Thomas Fabricio ’05 

    Thomas currently practices civil litigation with the multi-state law firm of Mintzer Sarowitz Zeris Ledva & Meyers in Miami, Florida. He received his Bachelors of Arts cum laude from MMC in 2005 with a double major in English and Political Science.  

     

  • Ruth Facer ’05 

    Ruth is a Senior Director at Zillow Group, Inc., which houses a portfolio of the largest real estate and home-related brands on mobile and web including Zillow, Trulia and StreetEasy. Ruth graduated cum laude from MMC in 2005 with a BA in English. 

  • Mary-Beth Hughes ’95 

    Mary-Beth is the author of Pushcart Prize-winner Double Happiness, and of the best-selling novel Wavemaker II. Her stories have been published in A Public Space, The Paris Review, among others. She graduated from MMC in 1995 with a BA in English.

     

  • Timothy Sparapani 

    Tim Sparapani, Principal at SPQR Strategies, PLLC, is a legislative, legal and strategic consultant who helps companies understand and respond to the pressures created for businesses, consumers and governments by emerging technologies.

  • Leslie A. Stone 

    Leslie is the current Director of Strategic Services at Ogilvy & Mather NY, an NYC-based advertising, marketing and public relations agency with a wide experience in luxury, finance, tech, retail, and non-profits. 

  • Caroline Tiger 

    Caroline is a Senior Content Strategist at Bresslergroup, a research-driven product innovation lab in Philadelphia. Using her journalism, editing, and content-packaging skills, Caroline develops the company’s communications and social media strategy.
