[step 1]
Finding the Right College

1. Is MMC for you?

If you're looking for a small private liberal arts college in a big-city setting, Marymount Manhattan could be a good fit for you. We offer a range of academic and extracurricular programs, and at MMC, you'll be studying and living in a diverse and encouraging community where your neighbor is your friend and all of New York is your playground.

Learn about Marymount Manhattan first-hand by getting to know our students: Student Profiles.

2. Gather information about MMC.

You can learn more about Marymount Manhattan in many ways. The admissions staff travels to various college fairs and schools throughout the year to visit with students. Find out where MMC will be. Your admissions counselor is available to discuss your needs on the phone and through email, although the best way to learn about MMC is to visit the campus in person. We invite you to schedule a visit to meet with your admissions counselor and take a campus tour. You may also observe a class, meet with a faculty member or current MMC student, or visit a specific department on campus. Be sure to let us know when you schedule the appointment so we can tailor the visit to your request. Special events are held on campus throughout the year as well. You can also read about our current students.

3. Begin the application and financial aid process.

Review the application process and begin submitting the required paperwork to the Office of Admissions. Although you won't know exactly how much financial aid you're eligible for until you've applied and been accepted to college, Marymount Manhattan has a wealth of financial aid options, and we encourage you to learn more about what types of aid you might be eligible for by visiting the financial aid area of our Web site.
